It's Syracuse Beer Fest...

...and I think the deacon is dead.

Home of Middle Ages Brewery and the Empire Brewing Company, Syracuse is hosting its very own craft beer week. A Syacuse.com interview with the brew masters of both establishments shines the spotlight on my glorious hometown and it's "rich" beer culture.

To get a taste of some of these fine beers here in NYC, be sure to check out Dinosaur BBQ, a Syracuse icon and proud purveyor of Middle Ages Craft Beers. I'm personally looking forward to the Wizard Winter Ale and The Dragon Slayer Imperial stout. I would imagine such cleverly named beers might rouse the deacon.
